So, ite been lashing ever since we left Prague! i 100% blame the freaky bone church that we stopped at on the way to Vienna! clearly we are now all cursed!
in vienna it rained but we still managed to have fun at the Schonbrunn palace gardens (mostly because jacinta kept us occupied trying to find her way though the maze and failing miserably!). i also managed to get in a bit of culture in the form of a classical music/opera/ballet hybrid night with todd and ronan.
after vienna we headed to budapest. im not a fan! while its a pretty city, i just didnt get a nice feeling about the place and was damn glad to leave for belgrade. again, it rained in belgrade, but we were only there for one night which we genreally spent in the hostel (which was really some dudes hose with a few bunk beds in the bedrooms). belgrade was strange, there were loads of bulidings that had been bombed during the war and havent been repaired. literally next door people are living in apartment blocks that werent damaged. its really strange!
from there we went to Sofia, where it rained AGAIN and as a result all we say of it was a park and an underpass. not impressed! now we are in plovdiv (in Bulgaria too) which is a really nice little town. but more importantly, after bucketing it down this morning its dry and sunny now! wonder how long that will last?
Turkey tomorrow................................... heres hoping the sun is there too!
