About time I started this!

So this time two weeks I will actually be on the Ozbus! It seems like no length since I was in work late one night and heard about the trip of a lifetime on the radio. Hard to believe that thats almost two years ago now! I always promised myself I would do something decent after finishing my PhD, so why not the Ozbus. Im sure people think Im completely mad, but I reckon its going to be amazing (for the most part at least) and really will be the trip of a lifetime.

Its really great that there is a facebook group set up. Its nice to know a few names and faces before we set off. Somehow it doesnt make the whole thing seem so daunting. Plus a few of us are meeting up to watch the Heineken Cup final for a few pre-departure drinks. And more importantly to watch Leinster win!!!!

The most firghtening this is how utterly unorganised I am at this stage. I finally bought a rucksack this week, but still have no sleeping bag, sleeping mat or travel insurance. O well, plenty of time left I guess.

Heres hoping that I actually kepp this thing up to date. I can just about manage facebook as it is!
